About Us
History
Swing for Vets is a New Hampshire certified non-profit organization founded in 2008 under the guiding principle of supporting our veterans, service members and their families. The organization came into being when several federal government workers wanted to combine their love of golf with their desire to give back to our military service members and veterans. Since it's founding in late 2008, Swing for Vets has supported the Newington, NH Chapter of the Disabled Veterans of America along with the New Hampshire Air National Guard Family Support Services at Pease ANG Base in Portsmouth, NH
Mission Statement
"To perpetually promote the well-being of US service members, veterans, and their families by raising funds to support programs and initiatives designed to enhance their quality of life."
Programs
Currently, Swing for Vets organization is developing several programs to support and raise awareness to several issues facing our service members, veterans, and their families. They include:
-The NH Military Scholarship Program
-The Swing for Vets Charity Relief Fund
-The Veterans Memorial Fund
